Alright, these weather are SIMPLY NOT ACCEPTABLE, I asked for some warmer days but I didnt ask for any BOILING MOMENTS!

36 degree tomorrow and 37 on monday.. thats going to be interesting hot :)    

Done, done, done and DONE!!!

Thats it for the year!! Few things to sum up 2007 in curtin…

1. I slacked a lot,

2. Lazier then previous year (bad thing),

3. Said that I will be more hardworking this year (obviously didnt work, so next year it is)

4. Sleep in class a lot more,

5. Missed 4 out of 5 lectures,

6. Parked without a parking permit and DID NOT get any fines,

7. Got lucky with most of the units (fingers crossed, work harder next yr!)

Well well, after these few weeks of well earned break (after all the exams of course) I will have to get back to work..

MONDAY to FRIDAY, 6AM till 2AM or more… Here is a glance of where i work and what I do..

First of all Did I mention that I get to sit down at work? yes, SITTING DOWN ON THE JOB!!

Thats the sorting frames, it can be the best time or the most boring time depending how you feel at the time! 

Alright, lets get to the REAL STUFF.. we dont sit down all night doing nothing alrite we have a 8.1 million dollar machine to run! Imagine how many lambo or even bugatti you can get with that money!

Rear view - mails get feeded by two people from the belt (not shown here) then get down to..

These are the feeders where the mail meet the machine AT LAST! this is the best bit I recon!! Kinda the fun bit but its also the bit where you cant stuff up or else you get raped! hahaha..

The mail get placed into individual box down the end of the machine 180 different boxes if im not mistaken! then it get put into a tub again and feed out into cages!!

NOW here is the hardest bit on the job! This is I think the thing you just CANNOT resist but to do..

Those RED BUTTONS look VERY DELICIOUS dont they! lol dont you just wanna PRESS THEM!! when they read EMERGENCY STOP! mind you I "ALMOST" pressed them once.. :S by accident of course *wink*

They stop the machine totally and can take up to 2 hours to reset so do your maths.. the machine chew up around 120 000 article a night 2 hours downtime would means that we will have to sit down and sort them by hand!!
