Revenue generator

I've always wondered, are those speed cameras there to stop people from speeding or are they there to help fund the government budget so they can use those money to pay welfare so people can afford to buy spray-cans and tag walls around Perth :)

Nonetheless, it is necessary to stop people from speeding but they are getting too sneaky and its just dangerous because people stomp on their breaks when they see stupid multinovas and thats how accidents happen!

There you go.. or you can get a radar detector that will warn you about speed cameras :) I recommend the Whistler (you can get them off radars.com.au) Mine is kinda old now :P detection range is bit.. CRAP!

3 speeding fines for 20km above speed limit will get ur money back! BUT.. do not quote me on anything. I dont encourage speeding, I dont encourage breaking the law. Radar detectors are legal in WA only out of other states.

Back to what I wanted to say….

Everyone in this world is unique, everyone has a story to tell, everyone has different experience in just about anything but how many of these stories do we know? how many of these stories have we heard? usually a few or even none. We are to busy with our own life, we are too busy worry about ourselves and never look out and see those that are in need for help. Its always Me, Myself and I. To a certain extend noone can be blamed for this because it's human nature to just be selfish (to a certain extend) It is not in our normal self that we usually go out and help people. Well, we do but for a price…sad? you tell me..

I want to leave you with this…

Everyone walks a different story - Its by time we stop running - and start listening ….

The Dollar Sign $$

Saturday, May 19th, 2007

Been trying to handling a few problems lately, range from family to car to friends and trips. Well you get the point. So, whats the down side of handling a handful of problems all at once?

Breakdown? Stress? Nervous? Grumpy? You name it, I've probably been through it..

Well, after a while trying to juggle those problems around I found out something quite significant. Almost every problems I've faced so far are related in a way or another but something that always comes up in any problem, ANY problem is the DOLLAR sign ($) …

So what makes the dollar sign ($) so important? I really don't know but what I know is that everything evolves around it. People usually say Money can't buy happiness. They are damn right but they've never consider the fact that Money can contribute to happiness.

Try to be happy with a million dollar in your account? Easy? Not too bad..

Try to be happy with a million dollar in debt? Easy? I don't think so…

As much as I would like to say money can't buy happiness, I really can't fully agree with it. Maybe I am materialistic, maybe I am money-minded…

BUT Who can honestly claim that they are not money driven AT ALL…

Anyone?

F A M I L Y

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,

"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.

He said, "Please excuse me too;

I wasn't watching for you."

We were very polite, this stranger and I.

We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,

How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,

My son stood beside me very still.

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.

"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.

I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,

God's still small voice came to me and said,

"While dealing with a stranger,

common courtesy you use,

but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,

You'll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you.

He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,

you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."

By this time, I felt very small,

And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed;

"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.

"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"

He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.

I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.

I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."

I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;

I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway."

I said, "Son, I love you too,

and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."

FAMILY

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don't you think?
So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?

FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU
