First Driving Accident?

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006

Before you start yelling your head off and thinking WHAT THE HELL happened to ken. Take a CHILL PILL and calm down then listen to what I've got to say…

Well, I was driving home from work today, rather wet weather. Since I just fuel up, i have the tendency to stick to speed limit after i fuel up because i dont like wasting those new FUEL i just put into the car! I wish fuel never run out but hey! thts impossible but again, thats not the point. It was rainy n wet roads (oo… here comes the trouble)

As I was approaching the nicholson road round about, the round about was all clear, so i decided to just go straight without looking around. Well not that I have to AND NO, thats not the reason i had my little driving accident. As i got around the huge bent, i saw a car stationary on the exit im heading towards, well, if you were me… FIRST instinct would be "STOMP ON THE BREAKS!!!! DONT HIT THE CAR!!!!" and well thats what I did and without the help of ABS (anti-lock breaking system - cause my car doenst hv them? fullstop) the wheels were locked up and the car starting to drift sideways (not dramatically but a little)

 NOW!

Critical decision… I either get in control and head for the road which will practically lead me to hitting the car thats sitting there or i just try my best to break without too much damage which could either means stop in time or just hit the kerb on the side of the road.

Well, anyone that is in my position would hv chosen the 2nd (stop safely/hitting the kerb) option and if you picking the 1st please dont drive behind me :) but yeh i did not manage to stop in time and yes i hit the kerb.. it was hard.. it hit it so hard i thot i lost my front wheels :P but fortunately it was nicely intact and nothing else were broken but one thing i found out that is the steering wheel were SHAKING when i was driving.. WHY? i dont know.. I 1st suspected its the wheel alignment that was knocked out by the kerb.

Came home and took a closer look @ my wheels and found out that…

Well, doesnt look too obvious other then the chipped hub cap and some white marks that was left over by the kerb? Alrite then, take a look @ this…

dsc00464-large.JPG

Take a look at the bottom bit. the steel rims is fully DENTED lol! i cant believe it hahah..no wonder the steering wheel were shaking.. a freggin wheel is like OFF totally.. (ENLARGE IT IF U HAVE TO :))

Im safe, airbag didnt went off.. i didnt get seat belt bruises :P.. well wasant too much of an IMPACT anyway but for now..

1. Im PISSED off at the car that stopped in the middle of the road

2. I have to get my car fixed asap! Thats hmm in few hours time!

Keep you updated! and dont worry, IM FINE!

Kenneth

[EDIT] I've changed over the spare tyre onto the stuffed up tyre and the allignment is perfectly fine, everything seems alrite to me but i will still call in and give it a check just incase, i dont need a wheel tht falls out in the middle of freeway :) [/EDIT]

Oooh, you look so great to me.

Have you brushed your teeth yet?

  Take your time, no hurry.
It's just that I'm not tired.
  Are you tired?

I'll see you in the bed, then.
You might want to take a book.

Scod: Baby…
Yon and Gatesy: Ooo ooo ooo,
  You're so fine, baby.

Scod: You know I can't stop thinking about you, baby.
And all of the magic coins that I need to collect.

Yon and Gatesy: Doo doo, doo doo,
  Doo-doo doo-doo.
  Doo doo, doo doo,
  Doo-doo doo-doo.

Scod: See, I just gotta find one more point of armour class,
And then I can take on the robots of Zirgon B,
And then we can make love…

Yon and Gatesy: Doo doo, doo doo,
  Doo-doo doo-doo.
  Doo doo, doo doo,
  Doo-doo doo-doo.

Tripod: I think this X-Box,
Scod: Is the best present I ever bought for you,
  Baby!

Everything you know [Part 1]

Well, I've came across this site and decided to copy some of the content on the site. I wont actually credit the site right now because I want to take little bits and pieces from it. But i promise when i get bored of it, i will eventually credit the site for what i've took from "them".

Everyone here must have heard or known (well if not any of those you must have heard) that GREAT WALL OF CHINA is the only visible man made object that you can see from space… Below is an image taken from some space station showing the great wall of china.

 greatwall.jpg

The Great Wall of China is the only man-made object you can see from space.
The truth: Not true.
“Although the Great Wall can be seen as a thin, gray line from a standard 250-mile-high orbit, it’s not the only man-made structure visible with the naked eye from that distance,” says Kirsten Larson, a spokeswoman for NASA. Airport runways, highways, cities, Marlon Brando’s underwear drawer, and a running list of other man-made structures can also be seen. They don’t get as much play as the Wall, because they’re not as long and thus harder to identify from that distance.

Six Months - Part 2

Surprise!

Yup yup, Reeny is here to blog for you today… not just because it is our semi anniversary but because I haven't blogged here for ages.

Guess what's playing right this moment?

Jay Chou - Hui Dao Guo Qu

Remember this song? Remember our library trip? Yup. I guess the journey all started from there… the funny MV, the laughter, the fun we had even if it was studying. YES, studying! I won't go back to the whole story of our six months cause it's so freaking long and I don't know where to start either. Let's just keep it in our heart and memories.

Actually there's lots to say for me. But once I started writing here, my mind just became blank. But since we read each other's mind anyway, I guess I won't say too much.

 Ken!

aka Hunnybear

Thanks for being there for me. Remember how I started blogging here? If I was not wrong, my first entry here is 'Missed Calls'. It meant more than just a blog entry. It also meant that I will always be there for you even if you only see a missed call in your phone from me. That means that I miss you and how much I wanted to be right there beside you now. Being able to blog in here in the first place was just… *can't find the word* xD But I feel really special. Special that I can blog here AND extra special because you're my Hunnybear ((x

I really can't imagine you not being there now that I'm so used to you being around me all the time.

I'm BLUE without you

Love you heaps!

Reeny xoxo
