Yeh.. I guess I have slightly more energy to blog now. Not mentioning tht im half way doing my building measurement assignment! Measuring floors and skirting is not much fun at all! not when the plan is TINY! lol
OK! Cut to the chaseee.. I went to kalgoorlie (northwest of Perth) on friday and i assume tht if ur reading this, you would hv known tht from my previous blog entry! Left home @ friday around 7.45 in the mornign! yes..7.45 and we made a few stops at a few different town along the way and end up arriving kalgoorlie around 6ish.. First stop was northam which we were suppose to look @ the morby cottage which was built out of mud 200 yrs ago but they only open on sunday so tht was a turn off.. then the next stop was mackering. The town of mackering experienced an earthquake of 6.9 richter scale back in 1968. I wont explain more as this pic will explain everything (all info u want to know about the earthquake)

Thats all for Mackering - small town nothing interesting other then the earthquake (ok tht sound sad but its true!) and then we stopped @ Merridin for lunch - why Merridin? haha.. because! we couldnt find a town big enough to even have a CAFE other then Merridin. This town after Mackering.. cant even remember the name now but they didnt have any thing at all.. so dead! so Merridin it is! Food wasant too bad but pretty expensive thts all..
From there on, we had brief stops at southern cross and this small town before kalgoorlie. I drove half the journey there i guess! it was pretty fun on country road.. all u need to concentrate is the road 
didnt hv to worry bout speed until u feel tht ur going way too fast and its time to slow down a bit we wont go into details bout tht!
So Kalgoorlie - Goldfield - bla bla bla.. Checked in straight after we arrived and hmm.. figured im living in a cabin! ROFL! it wasant tht bad thou! prefer tht more then motels coz motel hv dodgy toilets and this cabin actually hv a pretty nice toilet but shame i didnt take pic of it!

thats the double bed (for mum and grandma) and u can see my messy clothes on the bed liao! haha.. damn
ok thats the TRIPLE bunk bed for two lil bro + ken! and as you can see! i hv my sleeping bag up the top! so im sleeping UP THERE! hehe.. its nice : they hv lil window for individual level ROFL
thats the kitchen area pretty good.. fridge, microwave, hotplate, toaster, hot water thing.. hmm its .. nice!
thts the dressing table.. dont mind the esky and basket haha.. wardrobe and telly! hahah
Thts all for the cabin! lol.. missed out on the toilet.. but i dont think anyone would like to see that either! so yeh! *btw.. what does the TV says? lol - some random ads*
Moving on to DAY 2…
First Destination - Mining Hall of Fame
Arrived @ tht place around 10.30am and we only had to pay 60 bucks for 5 of us!(family pass) lol.. and this couple came alone and they ended up paying 48 for both of them! so thts such a gooood deal! but moving on…

1st bit of the tour is the underground tour! They bring u down 100 feet below ground level to look @ all the mines and here is wht the lift look like.. its damn small (just nice for 4 - 5 adult)
that yellow bit there is the lift enlarge if u cant see it too clearly..
thats the machine tht operates the lift - i suppose i would pray tht this baby works when im in the lift! lol
finally? a pic of ken? haha yeh! me in hardhat (not tht rare) didnt wear my steel cap 
haha i was wearing slippers and i thot i might just change for safety purposes!
some kinda earthmoving machine they use underground.. i would love to tell u mroe about everything! but i just dont think im the right person! haha.. ask those miner!
here we go.. another lil drilling machine! haha.. (dont think this is vry interesting! but still! ;p its good to just see!)

the WIDOW MAKER! hahah i like tht the name of this machine.. tht is becoz the machine creates LARGE amount of DUST when operated and just kill ur lungs fairly badly..

back in the olden days where everything were supported by TIMBER FRAMES! haha scarey! never know when they gonna fail and collapse!
The tunnel gets vry narrow after a while but since mum has claustrophobia she was bit freaked out with those tiny tunnels so yeh.. didnt stay thr for too long!! but here is a whole list of explosive they use down the mining site!

thats all the monkeys tht were trying annoy me when i tried to take a photo of the explosive (could hv took them out and blast them away then take the pic? haha) but yeh..the two lil kid without the hardhat is my lil brothers haha
Back to the surface for some FRESH AIR! haha then we moved on to the next bit of the tour.. gold room! haha the place where they make gold bars! *look around.. see no security - hehe - evil thoughts* [SLAP] oh.. ok hi hmm back to the gold room! they showed us all diff kinda stuff but i guess this is the most interesting thing u wanna see
pouring of gold into the mould! haha.. thts 100 ounce of gold there and value of 1 ounce of gold is roughly 800 dollars! but again the guy was tellin us they didnt hv PURE gold there (if they did.. tht little bar would hv a street value of 800 thousand!) haha.. dont think they wanna risk 800 thousand!
Now to the gold panning! haha ur suppose to find gold thereeee but hmm some ppl found gold but they r like.. TINY! gold dust! thts all u get so pfft! i tried for like 5 mins and decided its a waste of time!
people trying to pan for gold! haha.. poor thing.. dirty water.. all mud.. and all they r lookin for.. is a tiny piece of GOLD DUST!

Next stop after lunch was THE SUPERPIT!.. super pit? how super? you will see.. instead of underground mining they decided to have open mining instead. i can understand why.. haha its much safer, cheaper and SPECTACULAR!

Oh and i went to this SWEET SHOP @ boulder (a lil town next to kalgoorlie) they have all different kinda lollies from so many diff countries! they were. amazing! and yeh! haha bought some lollies from the UK and they r SOOOO NICE! .. yum yum! but yeh.. should hv bought the whole store!
Thats the end of day 2!! I think im going to stop here - going to dinner soon and i will finish off this entry when i come back..

BACK FROM DINNER! damn im full :S ate so so much.. but thts not the point.. Moving on to the last day of the trip! Or rather.. time to go home!! Spent most of the time in the car actually.. 9 hours worth! tht hv to be lots of fun lol.. we took a different route this time.. dropped by this historic town call York. Its a nice place i must say.. everything is just soo OLD! lol even the workers @ the information centre! (ok i didnt say tht haha)
But yeh.. went into this place called JAR-ROC - they sell expensive.. when i say expensive.. thier furniture are 4 digits and some gets to 5 haha.. nice lookin jarrah furniture.. this at least 15m long table.. no joint at all.. one full piece of jarrah! omg .. they didnt even hv a pricetag on it dnt think they wanna giv ppl heart attack ey? unfortunately i didnt take any photos but yeh then we went to this lil suspension bridge (i thot its something HUGE! but noneorless.. something hmm old again.. lol)

Then we went to brown hill - this hill overlook the whole of York town which is pretty cool!

a family photo i guess (missing: dad and grandma) hmm this is mum’s mum and dad’s mum is back in msia - on holiday!! unfair! gr..and yeh.. thts my mum and 2 lil brothers ur lookin at! hehe.. nice view ey? hehe.. i was gonna put more pic here but i think thts more then enuf for one post!
Overall its a fairly good trip i would giv it a 6/10 because of it’s travelling time and how you waste a WHOLE day just in the car… but yeh! if you are really keen in going! i would recommend taking the prospector (train) or just fly there.. its not worth the drive! haha..
and then alec (from work) called up and asked me if i could work the next day! whole day tht is.. and being all tired and slow.. i said.. YES! hence my last entry about working for 10 hours and being all dead! haha..
I have lots of things to say to LOTS of people! but i guess if i keep going with this entry.. it might just .. get.. a .. bit.. too.. long…
