What a day + Rocky Crunch Cakes

Saturday, October 8th, 2005

Wellz.. had a rather interesting day today.. Suprise suprise.. I actually woke up @ 7.30 this morning.. dont know why but i just did so i decided to watch flight plan as Chea Ming told me it was really good and just yesterday Joel sorta highly recommended it. So i had to watch it dont i? :) and yeh.. did some econs studies (well @ least i’ve covered whole of macroeconomic - not that they r hard as i remember most of the stuff from 1st sems *hopefully*)

After some long crazy study.. i got bored as usual so i took out a box of crunchy nut and i was thinking hmm cereal time but yet i thot of something else after looking at the little recipe on the side of the box, i decided to be a bit creative :S well i have to say its the 1st time i ever make stuff and you will see why :P if u keep reading.

1. I took out half.. HALF of the ingredients and i started shoving butter and sugar into the mixer and it wasant pretty as i was running around looking for all the stuff i need lol so i had to stop the butter+sugar mixing for a while until i find all my stuff… and ok all ingredients on the table so i shoved the rest of the stuff in and then the flour took me forever because it had to be sifted and grr its just sooo messy but ok thats not the point.. so i shoved all of them into this little mixer … (as mum said before ” ah what? only 1 set? i dont think thats enuf.. double it.. so i did) and guess what… the mixer was abit too small to mix the large amount of ingredients so i had to do it manually :S wasant pretty haha.. but i guess i got over it..

ok about to shape them onto the tray and WOOOT?! i forgot about the baking powder :S err well seeing its me and its my 1st time i couldn’t care less and so i found the baking powder and add them in praying that it will work.. but what went wrong with that was that … ** i think i need to learn to read tsp as teaspoon and tbsp as tablespoon because I ADDED 4 TABLE SPOON of baking powder (instead of 4 teaspoon) into the cookie >< hahaa…

oh well they dont taste that bad and i dont think those crap harm u that much.. hmm so yeh now im enjoying my cookie that took me like an hour or two to make.. *what a failure* oh yeh btw if anyone of you would like the recipe for the cookie here it is.

Rocky Crunch Cakes <- (cakes? i dont think so :P)

Ordinary Day . . .

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

Hrmz.. I was planning to go for a bike ride this afternoon but i guess the rainy + windy weather is hinting something so here I am writting something boring but yet trying to make it sound interesting haha..

Nothing special today.. had my physics exam this morning (one of the most worried exam) and yet it went pretty well suprisingly haha.. i guess all the panic and revision was well worth but i guess i still need to improve my “time management” - left 20% of the exam till the last 20 minutes.. not fun..

and guess what i’ve come across.. “Microsoft Invents A ‘Play-Once Only’ DVD” from slashdot.org

“Microsoft has developed a cheap, disposable pre-recorded DVD disc that consumers can play only once.” From the article: ” Buying an ordinary DVD of a new film costs between £15 (E22, $26.40) and £20. Microsoft’s new disc will enable the studios to release a “play-once, then throw away” copy for as little as £3, much the same as renting a video or DVD. But unlike a rented DVD, the new disc allows consumers to decide when they watch films and there is no need to return it. The new generation of DVD disc will spearhead a fresh assault by Microsoft on the home-entertainment market.”

Well i guess its rather stupid to hv something like that.. to be honest.. if its a good movie i wouldnt watch it only once @ least Play 5 times Only or smething like that.. its just stupid and a waste of resources.. i guess we can always rip it onto the comp and then burn a copy which will play as many times as u like :) haha..

Waiting For :: Lost Season 2 Episode 3 (grr cant wait! wanna watch it now.. sccccrew the exam :icon_confused: )

Thats about it for today :) before i go i would like to say hi to Shinie :icon_biggrin: haha..
Take care pepz!
